NEW DELHI: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has announced that the Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) 2025 will be conducted on May 25. The official notification for AP LAWCET 2025 will be available on lawcet-sche.aptonline.in. However, APSCHE has not yet disclosed the registration dates for the exam.
In addition to AP LAWCET, APSCHE has also released the examination schedule for other courses. The AP Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) 2025 is scheduled for May 7, while the AP Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET 2025) for engineering will take place from May 21 to 27. The agriculture and pharmacy exams under AP EAPCET 2025 will be held on May 19 and 20.
AP LAWCET 2025 Application Fee
To complete the application process, candidates must pay the registration fee based on their category:
- General (OC) candidates: ₹900
- Backward Category candidates: ₹850
- Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates: ₹800
AP LAWCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
For 5-Year LLB Program:
- Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- They should have passed Class 12 from a recognized state or national education board.
- Minimum qualifying marks:
- General category: 45%
- SC/ST category: 40%
For 3-Year LLB Program:
- Candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum qualifying marks:
- General category: 45%
- SC/ST category: 40%
AP LAWCET 2025 Exam Pattern
APSCHE will conduct the AP LAWCET 2025 exam online in a computer-based format. The test will be available in English and Telugu and will include 120 multiple-choice questions across three sections:
- General Knowledge and Mental Ability
- Current Affairs
- Aptitude for the Study of Law
The exam duration will be 90 minutes, with each correct answer earning 1 mark. There will be no negative marking for incorrect responses.
