Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh (AKTU) has issued a public notice extending the deadline for Round 1 seat confirmation fee payment under UPTAC 2026 counselling. The extension applies to candidates admitted to the first year of B.Tech, M.Tech Integrated, and B.Des programmes.
As per the notice (Reference No. AKTU/UPTAC-2026/2677, dated July 20, 2026), candidates can now deposit the seat confirmation fee of Rs 20,000 or Rs 12,000, as applicable, until 6:00 PM on July 22, 2026.
The university has clarified that the rest of the counselling admission process will continue as per the tentative schedule released earlier, and no other changes have been made to the counselling calendar.

Seat Confirmation Fee Details
- B.Tech, M.Tech Integrated, and B.Des first-year candidates allotted seats in Round 1 need to pay the seat confirmation fee within the revised window.
- The fee amount is Rs 20,000 or Rs 12,000, depending on the candidate’s category/course, as specified in the original counselling brochure.
- Candidates are advised to complete the payment before the extended deadline to avoid losing their allotted seat.
