JEECUP 2026: Round 2 Choice Filling for UP Candidates Ends July 9

The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has notified that Round 2 choice filling for qualified candidates of UP state is open from July 7, 2026, to July 9, 2026. Candidates who have qualified UPJEE (Polytechnic) 2026 and fall under the UP domicile category must complete and lock their choices on the official portal within this window to be considered for Round 2 seat allotment.

Details of the Schedule

JEECUP began the Round 2 choice filling process on July 7, 2026, on its official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in. Candidates can log in using their application number, password, and security pin to select and lock their preferred colleges and branches. The last date to fill and lock choices is July 9, 2026, after which the council will release the Round 2 seat allotment result on July 10, 2026.

Steps to Fill Choices

• Visit jeecup.admissions.nic.in
• Click on the “Round 2 Choice Filling” link under the candidate activity board
• Log in with application number, password and captcha code
• Select preferred courses and colleges in order of priority on the candidate dashboard
• Submit and lock the choices
• Download the confirmation page and keep a printout for reference

What Happens After Choice Filling

Once choices are locked, JEECUP will process seat allotment based on rank, category, and seat availability, with results declared on July 10, 2026. Candidates allotted a seat will then need to deposit the seat acceptance-cum-counselling fee between July 11 and July 13, 2026, followed by document verification at district help centres from July 11 to July 14, 2026. Candidates wishing to withdraw their seat can do so on July 15, 2026.
