JoSAA 2026: Fee Payment Issue Resolution and Round 1 Query Response Deadline Tomorrow

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has set two important deadlines for tomorrow, June 29, 2026, for candidates who appeared in Round 1 of JoSAA 2026 counselling.

    Don't Miss Entrance Updates 2026

Candidates who attempted fee payment before the June 26 closing time but faced a banking failure have been given an extension window until June 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM (13:00 IST) to resolve the issue through their financial portal, provided an initial log trace exists.

In addition, the absolute final deadline to respond to any query raised by a verification officer during Round 1 is June 29, 2026 at 5:00 PM (17:00 IST). Candidates must log in to their JoSAA portal and submit the required documents or clarification before this deadline.

Important Dates for June 29, 2026

    ActivityDeadline
Resolution of Fee Payment Issues (for candidates who attempted payment before the deadline)By 13:00 IST
Last Day to Respond to Queries (Round 1)By 17:00 IST

Note: Queries must be responded to through the JoSAA portal only. Leaving a query unattended results in the seat status being marked as “Incomplete Reporting,” which can risk the candidate’s provisional allotment.

The Round 2 Seat Allotment Result is scheduled for June 30, 2026. Candidates are advised to keep checking josaa.nic.in for updates.
