TS ECET 2026 Counselling Registration Begins at tgecet.nic.in: Check Key Dates, Fees & Seat Allotment Schedule

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has officially begun the counselling process for TS ECET (Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test) 2026. Candidates who qualified the exam can now register on the official portal, tgecet.nic.in, pay the processing fee and book their slot for certificate verification ahead of the provisional seat allotment on June 24, 2026.

    What is TS ECET Counselling 2026?

    TS ECET Counselling is the online process through which diploma holders (Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy) and B.Sc graduates with Mathematics who qualified TS ECET 2026 are allotted seats for lateral entry admission into the second year of B.E./B.Tech/B.Pharmacy programmes at participating colleges across Telangana. Seats are allotted based on rank, category, preferences and seat availability.

    Who Should Register?

    Candidates who appeared for and qualified TS ECET 2026, hold a valid rank/score, and have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy or B.Sc with Mathematics with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST and other reserved categories) are required to register for the first phase of counselling on tgecet.nic.in.

    Counselling Fee

    OC/BC candidates need to pay ₹1,200, while SC/ST candidates are required to pay ₹600. The fee can be paid online via credit card, debit card, or net banking.

    How to Register for TS ECET Counselling 2026?

    Candidates can begin by visiting tgecet.nic.in and logging in using their TG ECET Registration Number, Hall Ticket Number, and Date of Birth. After logging in, they must fill in their basic information and pay the counselling processing fee online, then book a slot by selecting their preferred Help Line Centre (HLC), date and time for certificate verification.

    Certificate verification will be conducted between June 17 and 19, 2026 at the chosen centre. Once verified, candidates can exercise their college and branch preferences (web options) between June 17 and 21, and must freeze their final choices by June 21, 2026. The provisional seat allotment result will be released on or before June 24, 2026, following which allotted candidates must pay the tuition fee and complete self-reporting between June 24 and 27, 2026.

    Important Reminders

    Completing registration, fee payment and certificate verification within the given window is mandatory for round 1 allotment and candidates who skip certificate verification will not be considered for a seat. Choices must be filled in strict order of preference, as this order determines the allotment outcome. A final phase of counselling has also been scheduled for candidates who remain unallotted after round 1.
