This is a critical milestone for students seeking B.Tech and B.Arch admissions in premier Delhi government engineering colleges, including DTU, NSUT, IGDTUW, and IIIT Delhi.
How to Check JAC Delhi 2026 Round 1 Allotment Result
Checking the allotment result is a straightforward process. Follow these steps:
- Visit the official JAC Delhi portal: jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in
- Click on the “Candidate Login” link
- Enter your Application Number and Password
- The allotted seat details will appear on your dashboard
- Download and print the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter for future reference
The allotment letter contains details of the college, branch and category/subcategory under which the seat has been offered.
What to Do After Checking the Round 1 Result?
Once you have checked your allotment, you must take action promptly. Here is what you need to do based on your situation:
If You Are Satisfied With the Allotted Seat
Candidates happy with their allotment must pay the Seat Acceptance Fee of ₹95,000 online through the candidate portal. This payment is mandatory before physically reporting to the allotted college. Candidates who do not wish to participate in further upgrade rounds must select the “Freeze” option.
If You Want a Better Branch or College
Candidates who accept the current seat but wish to be considered for a higher preference in subsequent rounds must select the “Float” option. This keeps you in the running for upgradation while securing your current allotment.
Important: Candidates who pay the Seat Acceptance Fee but fail to report physically for document verification will have their admission cancelled and will be removed from the counselling process entirely.
