    Key Highlights of the Notice

    • Two-Year Course Rule: Students must complete both years of study-Classes 9 and 10 for the Secondary exam, and Classes 11 and 12 for the Senior Secondary exam. Without completing the full two-year cycle, students will not be allowed to register for the board examinations.
    • Mandatory 75% Attendance: A minimum of 75% attendance across the academic session is compulsory. Exemptions of up to 25% may be considered only in special circumstances such as medical emergencies, family tragedies, or participation in national-level events, provided valid proof is submitted.
    • Internal Assessments Are Compulsory: All internal tests, projects, and practical evaluations must be completed. Missing internal assessments can result in the cancellation of a student’s eligibility, even if they attempt the final written exams.
    • Guidelines for Additional Subjects
      • In Class 10, students can choose up to two extra subjects; in Class 12, only one additional subject is allowed.
      • These subjects must be studied for the entire two-year duration with proper facilities and trained faculty in place.
    • For Private and Repeater Candidates: Private students and repeat candidates are also required to fulfil the same attendance and two-year study rules. They cannot bypass the eligibility norms.
