The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released detailed instructions for schools regarding the registration of students in Classes 9 and 11 for the 2025‑26 academic session.
Key Instructions for Schools
- Online Registration
Schools must register students through the Pariksha Sangam portal available on the official CBSE website. - APAAR ID Linking
It is mandatory for schools to link each student’s APAAR ID while submitting the registration data. - Data Accuracy and Verification
- All student information, including name, date of birth, and chosen subjects, must be submitted accurately.
- After registration, verification slips will be generated. Corrections can be made between November 14 and November 28, 2025. No changes will be allowed after this period.
- Eligibility for Board Exams
Only students whose registration is completed correctly will be eligible to appear for CBSE board exams in Classes 10 and 12 during the 2026‑27 session.
Additional Guidelines
- Schools should ensure that principals and teachers responsible for data collection are fully aware of the registration process.
- Students and parents must be informed about the importance of submitting accurate personal and academic details.
- All student information must be updated in CBSE’s OASIS and HPE portals before registration.
- Abbreviations in names for students, parents, or teachers are not allowed.
- Subject combinations should follow CBSE’s approved scheme of studies.
- Students’ photographs and signatures must be uploaded before final submission.
- Schools may collect information about parents’ annual income for scholarships, but proof of income should not be demanded.
Compliance and Deadlines
- Schools must follow CBSE affiliation rules, including proper student-teacher ratios and section strength. Failure to comply may result in disaffiliation.
- The online registration will close at 11:59 PM on the deadline. Corrections after submission will only be allowed for transfer cases.
