CFA Level 1 February 2025 Results Released for 19,848 Candidates

CFA Level 1 February 2025 Result Declared and 45% Candidates Qualified, Registration for Level 2 August Session is Now Open at cfainstitute.org.

The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute declared the CFA Level 1 February 2025 results on April 3. Candidates who appeared for the written exam can log in to the official website cfainstitute.org with their email ID and password to download their results.

    CFA Institute announced the CFA Level 1 February 2025 result and passing percentage. Out of around 19,848 candidates who took the exam, 45% passed successfully.

    Candidates can now download their CFA Level 1 February 2025 scorecards online by logging in with their credentials. To pass, they must score above the Minimum Passing Score (MPS) set by the Board of Governors. Those who score below the MPS will not qualify. The CFA Institute conducted the Level 1 exams from February 17 to 23 at 482 computer-based test centers in 390 cities across 109 global markets. The institute will announce the CFA Level 3 results on April 22.

    Chris Wiese, CFA and Managing Director of Education at the CFA Institute, stated that the February 2025 CFA Level 1 pass rate was significantly higher than the 10-year average of 40%. First-time test takers performed the best, with a 52% pass rate, while candidates who had previously deferred saw a lower pass rate of 30%. He encouraged all candidates to stay on schedule for better outcomes.

    Candidates who cleared the CFA Level 1 exam in the February 2025 session can now move on to Level 2 of the CFA Program. According to the CFA Institute, registration for the August 2025 Level 2 exam is currently open on the official website.

    Starting from the February 2025 session, the CFA Institute is providing enhanced score reports. These reports include a scale score, which gives candidates a clear idea of how well they performed on the Minimum Passing Score (MPS).
