New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened registration for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2025 starting today, February 20. The NCET 2025 exam is on April 29, 2025.
The last date to register for the NTA NCET 2025 exam is March 16, 2025. This exam offers admission into the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) offered by NITs, IITs, government institutes, and many other reputed institutions. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online at exams.nta.ac.in/NCET or nta.ac.in.
The NTA will conduct the NCET 2025 as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) in 178 cities across India. The exam will be in 13 languages which includes English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Eligibility criteria
Age Limit: There is no age restriction for candidates who are appearing for NCET 2025. Students who have passed or currently appearing for the Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2025 are eligible to apply for NTA NCET Exam. Also, candidates should meet with age criteria set by the university, institution or government college they want to take the admission.
Application fees
NTA NCET fees depends on the category:
- unreserved category – Rs 1200
- Other Backward Classes – Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) – Rs 1000
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category – Rs 1000
- Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) – Rs 650
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and third-gender candidates – Rs 650
Steps to apply
Step 1: Check their official website i.e. exams.nta.ac.in/NCET/
Step 2: Find and click on the “Apply Online” link for the NCET 2025 exam On the homepage.
Step 3: Now, Click on the link to open a new window and select “New Registration” option to complete the registration.
Step 4: Fill all the required details and review the form to ensure there are no errors in the application form.
Step 5: Submit the application form and save a copy for future use. Or, you may also take the printout of it.
