    Admission Procedure

    Smt NDRKCN Hassan will accept self-attested Xerox copies of document papers submitted by students. If the candidate is unable to submit the requisite documents by the required date, her admission will automatically stand cancelled.

    Eligibility Criteria

    We have mentioned below all the important information about the eligibility criteria for the reference of the applicants:

    B.Sc NursingPassed the two year Pre University examination or equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, with Science subjects, viz, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
    Obtained at least 45% of the total marks in science subjects and English of the qualifying examination. If belonging to a Scheduled Castes or a Scheduled Tribe, should have obtained not less than 40% of the total marks in science subjects and English of the qualifying examination.
    M.Sc NursingThe minimum education requirements shall be the passing of :
    B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
    The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
    PC B. Sc NursingCandidate must have a GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) Diploma.
    Candidate must be a Registered Nurse.
    Candidate must have at least 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or community health setting.
    Candidate must have passed PUC in Arts, Science, or Commerce, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
    Candidate must have basic knowledge of English.
    Candidate must be medically fit.
    Candidate must have a good personal and professional record.
    The candidate must be below 48 years of age.
    The course duration is 2 years.
    English will be the medium of instruction and examination.
    GNM NursingPassed 10+2 with English with at least 40% marks in the qualifying examination and in English separately from a recognized board.
    Candidates who have passed 10+2 from State Open School or NIOS are also eligible, if recognized by the respective government. Science stream is preferred.
    Passed 10+2 with English and at least 40% marks in the Vocational ANM Course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
    Passed 10+2 with English and at least 40% marks in Vocational Stream – Healthcare Science from a recognized CBSE/State/Central Board, or be a registered ANM with passing marks.
    Foreign Nationals: Their 12th-standard qualification must be recognized as equivalent by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. The institution and State Nursing Council will verify the eligibility and equivalence.
