The Haryana Government allowed the addition of 100 seats for students who studied MBBS abroad.

HARYANA: The 100 students who passed MBBS from abroad got internship approval from the Haryana Government. The government arranged 100 additional seats, as per the report of Amar Ujala. The seat allotment will happen on 4 March.

The Finance Department has approved a stipend for these students during their internship. They had cleared the Foreign Medical Graduate (FMGE) exam conducted by the Haryana government about eight months ago.

These students searched for an internship for about eight months to pass the FMGE exam. The lack of internships delayed their permanent registration in the Medical Council. They could practice only after securing permanent registration. They faced significant struggles to obtain an internship.
