New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the provisional answer key of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 2 on April 12. Candidates will be able to download the answer key from the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.

    Along with the answer key, NTA will also release the response sheet of candidates for session 2. JEE Main 2025 session 2 exams were held on April 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9.

If candidates identify any discrepancy in the answer key, they will have the opportunity to challenge the responses by submitting valid supporting documents.

    How to Calculate Probable JEE Main 2025 Scores

    Candidates can estimate their scores using the official marking scheme:

    • +4 marks for each correct answer
    • -1 mark for each incorrect answer

    Formula to calculate probable score:
    Probable Score = (Number of Correct Answers × 4) – (Number of Incorrect Answers × 1)

    Steps to Challenge the JEE Main 2025 Answer Key

    To raise objections against the provisional answer key, candidates must follow the steps below:

    1. Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in
    2. Click on the link titled “Challenge JEE Mains Answer Key 2025”
    3. Log in using your application number and password
    4. View the provisional answer key, which includes the question ID and corresponding correct option ID for both Paper 1 and Paper 2
    5. Select the question ID(s) you wish to challenge
    6. Click “Save your claim” and then “Next”
    7. Upload valid documents supporting your claim
    8. Pay the prescribed processing fee for each challenged question using a credit card, debit card, or net banking
