NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the CUET UG 2025 application form soon on its official website, exams.nta.ac.in. Aspiring candidates looking to secure admission into undergraduate courses can stay updated with the registration process, exam dates, and all the latest announcements related to the CUET UG 2025 exam.
The NTA will conduct the CUET UG 2025 exams in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode during May/June 2025. Before applying for the CUET UG exam for the 2025-2026 session, students should thoroughly understand the eligibility criteria, registration process, and the latest updates to ensure a smooth application process and avoid any errors.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the CUET UG exam annually, after board exams. Students aspiring to secure admission in central, state, private, deemed, or government universities participating in CUET must complete the CUET UG application form to be considered eligible for admission through this national-level entrance exam.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the CUET exam for undergraduate course admissions, students must fulfill the following criteria.
- Students must have passed Class 12 or appeared in Class 12 from a recognized board.
- For the General category, the candidate needs to secure a minimum of 50% in Class 12.
- for SC/ST, candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% in Class 12 to be eligible for the CUET 2025.
- For B.Tech. programs, the minimum total marks for the General category candidates is 45%, and that of the reserved category candidates is 40%.
Application and exam date
The NTA will release notification on the CUET UG 2025 application and exam guidelines. The Board exam is currently going on in India and the NTA does not want to distract students. Generally, the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts exams in May/June.
