CM Rise Schools in Madhya Pradesh to Be Renamed ‘Sandipani Vidyalaya’

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav renamed CM Rise schools as 'Sandipani Vidyalaya' and launched a new school admission portal.

The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday announced that the CM Rise schools in the state will now be called ‘Sandipani Vidyalayas’, drawing inspiration from the Sandipani Ashram in Hindu mythology. Addressing the state-level Pravasotsav Programme-2025, he launched the ‘School Chale Hum’ campaign to encourage admissions in government schools across Madhya Pradesh.

    The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Mohan Yadav, said that Lord Krishna had studied in the Sandipani Ashram, so CM Rise School will now be called ‘Sandipani Vidyalaya’. He said that Lord Krishna ended the misrule of Kansa and promoted education. Yadav also said that he had studied in a government school.

    CM Launches Admissions Portal

    The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav highlighted that many famous personalities, including former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, former President Dr. Rajendra Prasad and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, have studied in government schools. He emphasized the state’s efforts to provide coaching, uniforms, laptops, bicycles and scooters to students to support their education.

    Yadav attributed the state’s progress in the field of education to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier, he welcomed little girls at the school, completed their admissions in KG-2 class and presented them gifts. The CM also launched a new portal of the state education department to make school admissions easier.
