The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has started the registration process for Bihar Board Class 10 compartment exams 2025, special exams, and answer sheet scrutiny today, April 4. Students and school heads must complete the application by April 12, 2025.
How to Apply for BSEB 10th Scrutiny 2025
Students who are not satisfied with their BSEB 10th Result 2025 can now apply for scrutiny by visiting the official website – matricbsebscrutiny.com. The scrutiny application fee is ₹120 per subject.
Step-by-Step Process to Apply:
- Go to matricbsebscrutiny.com
- Click on “Apply for scrutiny (Annual Secondary Examination 2025)”
- Enter your roll code, roll number, and date of birth to register.
- Create a password and log in.
- Select the subjects for scrutiny by checking the boxes next to them.
- Click on “Make Payment” and pay via debit card, credit card, or net banking.
- Confirm that your payment has been debited within 24 hours. If payment fails to reflect in the committee’s account, the application will be considered incomplete.
Apply for BSEB 10th Compartment and Special Exams 2025
Students who failed in one or two subjects in the Bihar Board Matric Exam 2025 can appear for the compartment exams or special exams. Only school heads can apply on behalf of students through the official websites:

Scrutiny Rules and Evaluation Criteria
BSEB will evaluate answer sheets under the following guidelines:
- The board will correct any unrecorded marks inside the answer scripts.
- Officials will rectify totaling errors in marks.
- If any question or part of it remains unmarked, BSEB will evaluate it accordingly.
- After scrutiny, a student’s marks may increase, decrease, or remain unchanged.
Important Clarification from BSEB
If a student applies for both scrutiny and compartment exams and passes due to updated scrutiny marks, the board will consider the original annual exam result as final, not the compartment exam result.
