Amaravati, June 16, 2025 In a major boost for students from government junior colleges, Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Minister Nara Lokesh has announced free NEET and JEE coaching. This initiative aims to support over 1 lakh students across 1,355 junior colleges in the state, helping them prepare for India’s top entrance exams.
Focused Coaching with Expert Study Material
As part of the first phase, students will receive expert-curated study material tailored specifically for NEET UG and JEE Advanced preparation. The state government has trained junior lecturers to ensure quality and uniform teaching across all colleges, regardless of location or background.
Extended College Hours for Daily Coaching
To support this initiative government junior colleges will now operate until 5 PM. Every day students will attend two hours of dedicated coaching sessions, using structured and high-quality learning content.
Weekly Tests and Performance Tracking
To monitor progress and improve learning outcomes, the program includes:
- Weekly mock tests
- Regular performance reviews
- Detailed progress tracking
Minister Lokesh emphasized that this is the first program of its kind in Andhra Pradesh. It aims to help economically weaker students compete equally with their peers from top private institutions across the country.
