Candidates are advised to download and save the confirmation page for future reference, as no changes are permitted once choices are locked.
Freeze or Float: What Candidates Should Know
After seat allotment in any round, candidates get two options — Freeze, which means accepting the allotted seat permanently and exiting the counselling process, or Float, which means retaining the current seat as a backup while remaining eligible for an upgrade in the next round. A non-refundable counselling fee of ₹3,000 is charged at the time of seat acceptance, which is later adjusted against the admission fee at the allotted institute.
Who Can Apply in Round 3
Round 3 remains open only to qualified UP domicile candidates who did not secure a seat, or who wish to upgrade their allotted seat, in the earlier rounds. Candidates from other states will get their first opportunity to participate starting Round 4.
