CSIR UGC NET June 2026 Admit Card Released: Check Download Steps

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a public notice confirming the release of admit cards for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 Examination, to be held on 17th and 18th July 2026. The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and is aimed at determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D., as well as admission to Ph.D. only, across Indian universities and colleges.

    Exam Schedule

    According to the notice, the examination will be held over two days, with subjects divided across morning and afternoon shifts as follows:

    How to Download the Admit Card

    Candidates can download their admit cards using their Application Number and Password through the official CSIR NET website. The steps to follow are:

    • Visit the official CSIR NET website.
    • Log in using the Application Number and Password.
    • Locate the admit card download link on the dashboard.
    • Enter the required credentials to access the admit card.
    • Download the admit card and take a printout.
    • Carry the printed copy to the examination centre and preserve it for future reference.

    Key Instructions Issued by NTA

    The NTA has issued the following important instructions for candidates:

    • The admit card is issued provisionally, subject to candidates fulfilling the required eligibility conditions.
    • Admit cards will not be sent by post.
    • Candidates must not mutilate the admit card or alter any entry made on it.
    • Issue of the admit card does not amount to confirmation of eligibility, which will be further scrutinized at subsequent stages of the admission process.
    • Candidates are advised to preserve a copy of the admit card in good condition for future reference.

    Candidates facing difficulty while downloading their admit card, or noticing any discrepancy in the details mentioned, have been advised to reach out to the NTA helpline or write to the official CSIR NET email address. The agency has also urged candidates to regularly check the official NTA websites for further updates related to the examination.
