GGSIPU 2026 Releases Offline Counselling Schedule for MA Admissions

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has released the schedule for the 1st offline counselling for admission to the MA (Mass Communication) programme, CET Code-106, for the 2026-27 academic session. All CET 2026 qualified candidates whose names appear in the merit list must report in person for verification of documents and allotment of seats.

    Counselling Venue and Date

    The counselling will be held on July 15, 2026, at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sector 16-C, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078. Candidates have been assigned specific reporting times based on their category, and allotment of seats will stop once seats are filled in each category.

    Category-wise Reporting Schedule

    Candidates have been assigned specific reporting times on July 15, 2026, based on their category. Allotment of seats will stop once seats are filled in each category.

    • 11:00 A.M. – Jammu & Kashmir Migrant category
    • 11:30 A.M. – Economic Weaker Section (EWS), irrespective of region
    • 12:00 Noon – Defence sub-category (Priority I to IX), irrespective of region
    • 12:30 P.M. – PwD (PH) sub-category, irrespective of region
    • 12:45 P.M. – ST category, irrespective of region
    • 2:00 P.M. – SC category, irrespective of region
    • 2:00 P.M. – General/Unreserved category (from Rank 1 onwards), irrespective of region

    A candidate belonging to any sub-category is also eligible to seek admission in the General/Unreserved category of their respective region, purely on CET merit.

    Documents Required

    Candidates must carry the following documents (originals + photocopies) at the time of counselling:

    • Four passport-size photographs
    • CET Rank Card/Merit Order of CET-2026
    • Original CET-2026 admit card
    • CET 106 online filled registration form
    • Filled admission verification form (Appendix 5)
    • Filled preference sheet (Appendix 10)
    • Proof of date of birth (10th Class mark-sheet & certificate)
    • Original mark-sheets/certificates of qualifying examination
    • Physical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner
    • Category-specific reservation certificate, where applicable
    • Conduct and Character Certificate (not more than 6 months old)

    Fee Details

    A Bank Draft of Rs. 96,000/- towards Seat Acceptance/Part Academic Fee must be submitted at the time of counselling, payable to “Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University,” payable at Delhi. Candidates must write their name, date of admission, phone, address, mobile number, programme name, CET Rank, and CET Roll Number on the back of the draft.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Candidates must have graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with an aggregate of 50% marks.

    Withdrawal of Admission

    The last date for withdrawal of admission from the MA(MC) Programme, CET Code-106, is July 22, 2026. Candidates must submit the filled and signed Appendix 9 (Admission Withdrawal Form) at the Academic Branch, Administrative Block, GGSIPU, Dwarka.
