Who Can Take Part
Phase 2 fills the seats that remain vacant after Phase 1. Candidates fall into three groups:
- Candidates who got no seat in Phase 1: They can register and submit web options in this round.
- Candidates who joined a college in Phase 1 and want an upgrade: They can submit fresh web options. If no better seat is allotted, their confirmed Phase 1 seat is retained.
- Candidates satisfied with their Phase 1 seat: They do not need to take any further action.
Web options entered in Phase 1 are not carried forward. Every candidate who wants to be considered in Phase 2 must submit a new preference list.
How to Register and Fill Web Options
- Visit the official counselling portal at cap.apcfss.in.
- Open the AP LAWCET 2026 Phase 2 registration link.
- Log in with your candidate credentials and complete the registration form.
- Pay the counselling fee online. The fee is non-refundable.
- Upload scanned copies of the required certificates for online verification.
- Once the web options window is active, log in and select your preferred colleges and courses in order of priority.
- Lock and save your choices before the deadline, then download the confirmation for your records.
Points to Keep in Mind
Seat allotment depends on the candidate’s rank, category, reservation rules, local or non-local status, and the options entered. A candidate can only be allotted a seat in a college included in their preference list, so it is advisable to enter as many options as possible. Locked options cannot be edited immediately, but a separate change window is available on October 31.
Candidates are advised to rely only on the official portal for updates and to complete each step well before the closing time to avoid last-minute technical issues.
